It's the Long weekend and the Fashonista has done the deed and organised a bit of exercise for us all. The East Gippsland rail trail was formed when the train line shut down in 1987. 100km of bush track from Barnsdale to Orbost with a couple of hills to keep it intresting. We stayed at Nowra Nowra in a lodge surrounded by bush, with several other groups doing the same thing. The pub which was just over the road kept us in beer and steaks, while Hanna kept the fire pit going. Other attendees where Jen and Paul, the butcher and the Griswold Family. Special mention to Josh who rode the whole 100KM, not bad for an eight year old. Thanks to the butcher for a good weekend. Click the pic for more
